reasons to be happy?

it's quite funny. haven't really done a lick of work all day. normally i would find this apalling and go trudging back to my hotel bedraggled, woebegone, doddering... you name it.

today there is no cause for that kind of humdrum, lackadaisical, pisspot attitude. no! here are the two main reasons, in list form no less:

• i have money in the bank!
  was broke as could be, four hundred plus in the hole to be blunt. think that the darn galveston hotel ate up some available. this crisis is now over with a resounding bang as i find that not only am i out of the red but some three hundred and fifty clams so!
• i love horrible weather
  it's as if the beaumontians have really rolled out the red tattered carpet for me! the conditions outside are truly piss and i couldn't be more happy. i already rambled about it on my 'business' site should your interest be triggered go here

bonus reason!


• tomorrow is friday
  no harm in being happy about that... didn't need to check my warm fuzzies to find something to cheer me today. things just happened.

...besides the sudden fondness for clothes shopping (which will surely end, post haste) another embarrassing and unattractive condition has reared its ill-shapen head. (behavior: as it refers to my behavior only - i do not wish to critique anyone else's on this point) i called eli's apt simply to hear his voice mail pick up. knew he was out of town and out of reach but just wanted to hear his voice. gag me with a spoon, would ya?
