Public Service Announcement Time

class is over for the week and not a moment too soon. christ, people. if you ever find yourself in a training class at work please think your questions through before asking. every single question should be considered carefully before it leaves your trap. you will want to do this because someone like me might be training you.

someone that drank six beers last night and then took her sleeping medication. someone who is pissed off at her boyfriend and is past the point of seeing reason. someone whose pants are too big and require constant yanking just to keep her undies from seeing the light of day.

if someone like me is training you won't want to work her last nerve. you won't want to rephrase the same question only to ask it three more times. you won't want to inform me that my class is behind schedule when it isn't. you won't want to play solitaire on the computer when you should be at least pretending to finish a worksheet...

why?? because you don't want me to wig out on you. you really don't.

consider this my public service announcements for everyone who works for a "giant corp" or who will ever work for a "giant corp". treat your trainer like you yourself would want to be treated, or better. because she is staring down the barrel at some people who need things explained four different ways and she's doing it for peanuts and on too little sleep.
