Home Alone

the clock is ticking... i am definitely running out of time here in minneapolis. there is so much to prepare for work and for this weekend.

i'm trying to keep a smile on my face but i won't say that it isn't a challenge.

i feel like i'm caught in one particular scene in home alone. there is a power outtage and the alarm clocks are dead. they don't wake up the family and suddenly the parents sit bolt upright in bed yelling 'we slept in!' next we see them running about the house hurrying to get to the airport and make their flight.

then they leave kevin (mccauley culkin) behind in the attic. that's how i feel right now... that i could count heads and feel like i have everything but i will still probably leave my eight year old at home alone.

at christmas time...

with robbers down the street and a scary shovel man around the corner.

ugh
