got eli all sorts of stuff for his birthday... was kind of fun to celebrate birthdays with someone. his is 9/27 and mine 9/30. that means i will be celebrating mine in texas. i'll deal.eli got:

listed gifts as a demonstration of how lame and consumer crazy i can get. eli feels a bit guilty and said that he would be amassing more gifts for me but that wasn't the point. i simply bought lots of things as a way to cover my butt. wasn't sure what he would really dig so made sure to hit many different bases. seemed to do pretty well and thank god.went to bonfire on saturday. sophie is leaving town and we drove to far ass side of world to say goodbye. she had bought eli and i socks for our birthdays. eli's were at his request and she tagged on mine - which i thought was both lovely and intriguing. she gave us a hug as we left and said that she would miss us because we both had personalities. well fancy that. have redesigned diary as a tribute... i'll miss you dollface.
