We're On Strike?

so this morning is a bit strange. the bus strike started at 2 a.m. and now the scheduling department is threatening cancellation of my class. i'm getting phone calls and e-mails about this.

i'm waiting for the high sign to get going with training this morning. there is only two minutes before class is supposed to start and i feel weird not telling anyone that we may be yanked out of the room at any moment.

most everyone has made it here though. on my way through the parking lot i was praying for class to be cancelled because i'm exhausted. now i'm not so sure. i'd hate for my class to have to be stuck on the phones all day just because i'm too tired to tell them how to put notes in the system or to go over review answers.

only a minute to go... can you hear the clock ticking? i can't because i left my damn watch at home and the rest of the clocks here are digital. but that wasn't really what i meant by that, was it?
