My Talk Show Life
let me start off by saying that this isn't the first night of burlesque entertainment for me and the boy. definitely not. of course having his mother and brother a long is a first. she's going to be in town and the boy will not miss his chance to see the suicide girls take it off. she's going to be staying over at his house after the show, too.
that last bit makes me think. isn't going to see girls go from scantily clad to pasties supposed to be a couples activity? well, how is it then when this show is over my boyfriend and i will be going to our separate rooms and separate beds.
it makes little to no sense but that's actually how things normally work. the more bizarre things appear the more at home i feel.
burlesque has been changed quite a bit and that's both good and bad. the bad part is that the girls take off too much too quickly. it's called strip tease for a reason girls - you're supposed to make us beg for it. i do really love that there are new tricks and bits of flash. i saw two ladies from canada strip to primus recently and that was wonderful.
since the boy knows that i have dated girls in the past he likes to point out lasses for me to ogle. i've tried to get it through his head that this isn't a bonding activity for the two of us but this hasn't exactly hit home yet. i also don't think that he realizes that if i were interested in some girl that she would be competition for him not an extra bonus for bedtime fun...
but you don't realize this stuff, do you guys? oh, well. keep figuring it out the hard way. makes life interesting and keeps talk shows in business.
